香港科大欢迎哈佛国际生转学：愿无条件录取
【环球时报综合报道】在美国政府宣布禁止哈佛大学招收国际学生，并要求现有国际学生转学之际，香港科技大学23日发表声明欢迎这些国际生加入科大，并表示愿无条件录取转学生。声明向现在正就读于哈佛大学的国际本科生及研究生，以及持有哈佛学位课程录取通知的学生发出公开邀请，欢迎他们加入科大继续学业，延续学术追求。“此举旨在应对全球学术环境的变化，并彰显科大致力营造多元、世界级学习环境的承诺。”
“科大将优先处理这些学生的入学申请、学分转移及定制支援（包括签证协助与住宿安排），确保他们顺利转学。”声明写道，大学已成立专责团队，负责协助上述工作。
香港特区政府教育局局长蔡若莲23日下午在社交平台撰文表示，欢迎全球优秀学子来港升学，并指局方已呼吁香港所有大学为符合资格者提供便利措施，维护学生和学者的正当合法权益。她还表示，已联系哈佛大学香港校友会，为获录取赴该校升学的学生提供全面支持。（文简）
